Old Fashioned Herbal Food Recipe:
Peppermint Sauce:
1. Coarsely chop peppermint leaves. (2 bunches)
2. Brew a batch of black tea using 5 tablespoons of black tea leaves.
3. Mix black tea and 3 tablespoons of brown sugar in a saucepan.
4. Simmer over low heat until sugar dissolves; stir constantly.
5. Remove from heat and stir peppermint leaves and 6 tablespoons of red-wine vinegar into the tea mixture.
6. Add a pinch of salt; stir and serve warm over meats and vegetables.
