Homemade Peppermint syrup

For indigestion

Remedy Recipe:

1. In a sauce pan, place 2 oz. fresh peppermint leaves in 4 cups of water.
Cover and bring to a boil then simmer for 1/2 hour.
Let cool and strain.

2. Replace the liquid back into saucepan and over low heat, reduce liquid to 1 cup.
3. Mix in 2 cups of honey and simmer (stir constantly!) until syrupy. (Think maple syrup consistency.)

Store in a glass bottle with lid in the refrigerator.

Remedy Directions:
Mix 1 tablespoon of syrup in 1 cup of water after meals and drink to relieve indigestion.
